In 1800, Sulpice Debauve, pharmacist to King Louis XVI and official purveyor to the French royal court, opened his first chocolate and tea shop on the left bank of Paris. Since then, Debauve & Gallais has maintained a tradition of selecting only the finest tea, and blending together superior ingredients such as the most exquisite fruits, flowers and spice essences in existence around the world.
